Equalizer for spotify in linux
I really miss my old days with winamp when i was able to tweak the equalizer to match them with my headphones.
i love everything about spotify but the most thing that make my experience less enjoyable is the fact that all of the albums i listen to sounds flat , i don’t have a high end headphone but i can notice the difference when i play my local songs in audacious and changing the equalizer settings.
So i have searched for a solution to change the output sound setting i found PulseAudio equalizer the installation process is fairly simple
the interface show you only what you need nothing more or less
the one things i noticed while playing with it is when i i’m playing a track on spotify there is some lag between the time a change the setting and time they take effect.
i didn’t dig to much deep in the conf files to see where i can set the buffer size.
anyway it a cool hack to enhance the quality of sound in spotify in linux
